Terms of Service
Effective July 18, 2026
Curio offers self-guided audio walking tours through the app and walkwithcurio.com. By using Curio, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Using Curio
You may use Curio for your own personal, non-commercial walking tours. Signing in uses Sign in with Apple or an email magic link; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 to use Curio.
Walk with care
Curio guides you through real places on foot. Stay aware of your surroundings, follow traffic and local rules, and use your own judgment about where it's safe to walk. Don't rely on the app for navigation or safety. You walk at your own risk.
Content you create
If you record narration or author a tour, you keep ownership of what you make. You grant Curio permission to store, process, and serve that content so we can build and publish your tour. You confirm you have the rights to what you submit, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or break the law.
Content in the app
Tours, audio, and text in Curio belong to Curio or its partners. They're for your personal use. Don't copy, redistribute, or resell them.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, and no unlawful, harmful, or infringing content. We may suspend or end access that violates these terms.
No purchases in this release
This release has no purchases or subscriptions. If we add paid features later, we'll present their terms and prices before you buy.
Disclaimers
Curio is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the service will always be available, accurate, or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Curio isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, we'll update this page and its effective date. Questions go to the support page. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
